Seeking free shell for Tor hidden-service backup?
Hello list. Long-time lurker, first post. I run a small Tor hidden service (static site, low bandwidth) on a free shell box in the bitcoinshell tradition. It works well, but it is a single point of failure, so I am looking for a second free shell/pubnix that tolerates a small Tor daemon (hidden service only - not a relay or exit) as a backup. I have surveyed what is left of the scene fairly thoroughly: bitcoinshell works; hashbang is full; the tildeverse (asked on tilde.chat, plus several applications) considers Tor obfuscation out of scope for tildes; IRCNow and shellter ban Tor in ToS; blinkenshell wants SMS verification; most old shells are dead. Question: is there any surviving free shell that still allows a small Tor daemon, or is bitcoinshell effectively the last one? Happy to follow rules, apply as a human, be a quiet user - and happy to throw a little BTC at whoever runs such a box. Thanks for any pointers.
