'Tube bannings in full force this year (and next, presumably) - two strikes here and there, one to go, for a camel toe. Not sure how a static image (ok, a slideshow of a few such images) is reasonably labelled "graphic sexual content", but them's the snowflakes we live in today. Oh, and the first strike was nothing to do with camel toes - nor literal toes of camels - it was simply that HQ vid scanning a few newspapers from early last century, leading up to WWII. Google is Jewgle indeed... God rest their sensitive little yarmulkas - must be such stress running the world. ----- Forwarded message from YouTube <no-reply@youtube.com> ----- From: YouTube <no-reply@youtube.com> To: zenaan@gmail.com Reply-To: YouTube <no-reply@youtube.com> Date: Sat, 24 Aug 2019 16:48:25 -0700 Subject: Zenaan Harkness, your content violated YouTube’s Community Guidelines and has been removed?? <https://www.google.com/appserve/mkt/p/AFnwnKWu01JF3QqpNrCeCB_xzhRqaD9uUJq5-l-N7Iax1n6gxgIla7vExwIl3uLN0ihU5VrtK0dfXObWkvN1svBjk9hFZtmHuOwf8zwTrscU9PgLjXlqsNGFVNmNE324m2bw5A> Hi Zenaan Harkness, Our team has reviewed your content, and, unfortunately, we think it violates our sex and nudity policy. So you're a violator... ConFuckingGratulations. Now get over yourself. The Cyberwalls are closing in on everyone. Yesterday Facebook refused, without option to contest, a Dreamhosters domain link I've never had a problem posting before. By the time the warning showed FB had sucked the page of text I typed and refused to let me edit or copy it as well as barring the link. But I DID learn one thing later. Apparently FB doesn't really content-match videos. It relies on embedded metadata from the creator. A simple re-rendering of a copywronged vid and they just don't catch it.
