Yes, is a laughing matter. The holocaust is real, in that Hitler would have caused the death of every Jew through starvation, overwork, and exposure, and made a good start on it, and the holocaust is fake, in Jews have been endlessly improving on it and milking it to death. Gas chambers and masturbation machines are obvious absurdity. Similarly the diary of Ann Frank is real, in that a girl called Ann Frank really did live and die much as depicted, and is fake, in that some portions of the handwritten diary are written in ball point pen, in the same hand as wrote the rest of the diary, and ball point pens are postwar. Further it is fake in order to make the holocaust about race and racism, therefore the fault of white non Jewish males, who must be punished forever, whereas the holocaust was actually about envy and covetousness, and therefore the fault of leftists and socialists. A girl was chosen to be the archetypal victim because she had no stuff. If a shopkeeper chosen to be the archetypal victim, would have been too obvious that the problem was leftism, which is to say that the problem was covetousness and envy. The similarity between Krystalnacht in Nazi Germany, and what is happening today to mostly lighter skinned shopkeepers in Venezuela and to white farmers in South Africa would have been embarrassingly obvious. Ann Frank's diary was concocted to hide the resemblance. The gas chambers were invented to make the deaths of Jews under Nazism as different as possible from the deaths of (disproportionately Jewish) intellectuals and businessmen under communism.
