Nowhere does it say the material was stolen from anyone. Thus a fine free market solution to a supply and demand problem. Unfortunately the State thinks that literally robbing people at gunpoint on the highway, then kidnapping them into a further lifetime of slavery in fines and prison... is an ok thing to do. Aren't cypherpunks supposed to be doing something about that?

'chip shortage' exists only in the minds of technofascists. but wait, I keep forgeting that bell's job description is to constantly spam pentagon propaganda.

But, when I cite something, I am not claiming I "agree" or "disagree' with it. Some may well be propaganda, but that doesn't mean that we don't want to know the line they are pushing.

problem is, your sources of 'news' are all highly biased.
But, when I cite something, I am not claiming I "agree" or "disagree' with it. Some may well be propaganda, but that doesn't mean that we don't want to know the line they are pushing.
Fair enough. So here's something closer to real news : "the silicon valley mafia used a propaganda campaign based on a bogus 'chip shortage' to get 50,000 millions in subsidies." https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2021/06/14/global-subsidies-semico... Senate approved $52 billion in subsidies for chip criminals, I mean, 'manufacturers'. And here's more news : all those subsidized chips will be used to mantain and expand the police surveillance state and enable technofascists to further 'automate' their totalitarian political system.
