I keep waiting for someone to market or at least setup a god how to guide on making a do-it-yourself stingray with OpenBTS + asterisk + whatever... the only big problem that i see right now is some of the hardware requirements (the SDR, the radio) is expensive, to get a good working OpenBTS install. Old analog scanners modified to pick up 800mhz aren't of much use these days... but OpenBTS way cooler anyway.

And i'm saving up my shekels ;)

Sorry for the consistently fucked formatting of my posts to the list. When I'm on the subway replying with a phone, I haven't found a decent client that formats text properly (for IOS or for Android). John (via mutt, cuz im not on the subway and sitting a a real computer!)
