Peter J. Tomasek is an attorney and a writer from Durham, North Carolina. In his current role as Editor-in-Chief for Interrogating Justice and How to Justice, Peter focuses on the BOP’s implementation of the First Step Act’s Time Credits Program, “ban the box” laws and second-chance hiring, and a variety of other topics impacting the U.S. criminal justice system. Prior to helping start Interrogating Justice and How to Justice, Peter practiced law in Michigan and North Carolina.
