[spam][ot][rambling][crazy] Defusing a Dangerous Water Bomb was: Building
If people are going to be dropping water bombs in helpless deserts or rainy government neighborhoods, will we need a way to stop them?
A water bomb could cause a lot of damage in a delicate desert that has acclimated to dryness. Similarly, occasionally-irritable people in rainy areas could get quite disrupted by being unable to find dryness.
There are two water bombs to defuse now: my dangerous expanding fluid, and jim's steel waterbottle left outside in the winter.
I'm worried that defusing a freezing-based bomb could involve the invention of a heat ray, so we may want to defuse that too. Maybe with more ice?
I hear that a group is designing a water tower utilizing a spherical steel water container. One of the designs in the "Bomb?" bin, also has a spherical steel component.
