[ot][crazy] Hero Video Game: Ancient Spirit of Peaceful Care
The player can play as an ancient spirit of peceful care, like the dalai lama or jesus or buddha or a mother tree or a famous pecemaker or anybody. It’s gimmicky, to connect with mainstream media, so isn’t necessarily accurate to a specific story. Once they select their character, they proceed into the game. I need something interactive that is not aggressive nor controversial. I made this thread to make spasmodic posts of possible game content, so that I could pretend to myself i am engaging something nonaggressive.
ASoPC: “A great peace wells within you. All things have a path.” The player guides ASoPC to heal injured young animals in a glade. All the animals become healed. ASoPC: “As you learn this peace, you see it is within everybody who can possibly exist.” Some characters in a heated argument walk in to the scene. The interface expands to show how the animals got their injuries from injuries present in the plants.
The player proceeds to heal the plants. ASoPC: “Disagreements are ways of saying that we care for each other so much, that it need not be spoken of.”
idea: maybe the player could select how to engage the characters in a heated argument, for example by picking respecting them and having a phase of the game where they demonstrate great respect and patience and honouring for them in a ritual of welcoming and peace and value (like a tea). i’m regretting introducing them so rapidly and soon. i was thinking of how storms well on the horizon, and having ASoPC say something like: “When you are in touch with this peace, everything that is approaches you with a long, clear, and loud introduction.”
(which is true enoughue because you tend to build a surrounding of peaceful beings whom you know intimately well)
————- ASoPC walks peacefully up miles of mountainside to give blessings to the peak of the mountain. Each animal and plant and rock passed needs a blessing, which the player gives. ASoPC: “Everything is a part of us, and we are a part of everything else. We all need to be reminded of this, to survive.”
At the peak of the mountain, the player , as ASoPC, sits and meditates to honor the mountaintop and hold value for everything visible from it. thought maybe visitors could come Visitor: “Something in me told me to come up here.” the player helps each visitor with small wisdom. both homeless people and kings and queens.

idea: ASoPC could disperse the disagreement with a single word [i guess our culture has been making these simple button presses rather than having the player navigate commonalities and differences in the hearts of th arguers and select a word from many that would work]
------------ ASoPC spends time as a new monk at a sacred place, respectfully and humbly going through theprocess of learning to be a monk, but not hiding who they are from the other new monks. The player performs the tasks of a neophyte monk, one after another, learning to be a monk.

---------------------- ASoPC senses a war building in a nearby diplomatic meeting, and visits the area by sharing body with a bird of peace going that way and then turning back to themselves. ASoPC: "You can travel as animals too, if you learn to live as they do, or you can begin to speak with them to communicate at a great distance, as your spirit grows." During travel, the player interacts with people they pass to learn about the topic of the diplomatic meeting and the people involved. ASoPC relates to the people at the meeting place how they have important information the members need. They clarify that they can perform an important rare task such as preventing a war or providing a leader something they need. The player attends to both sides of the disagreenent, organizing simplified and cute important information in the interface.
ASoPC: "When someone's heart is speaking, it is all that exists. Every heart must be allowed to share themself completely."
I found the game “The Kreator". It subtly encourages valuing everyone's light fully, and depicts how problems can compound if a single light is not included. This is brief at the start.

I guess it’s nice to remove mention of upsetness, Sounds like it’s from upsetness in me.
The player can tramsform into their environment, merge with anything they say, and make choices that it would make while walking in its shoes. For example, they could become the lake, or a rock, or a nearby person looking for a new shoelace. The player’s body disappears when they do this. ASoPC: “When you care for and respect someone in a truly boundless and bottomless way, it is the same as being them yourself. This is because you think of and perceive everything that they do.”
[potential design mistake where olayer might try to make choices someth8ng they were sharing body with would not, or be frustrated if the interface wouldn’t let them. unsure. maybe have the interface focus in learning the experence of the other, and instead prompt theplayer to do the things they want to do.]
The player turns into the lake, and helps the fish breathe and swim. The person looking for a replacement shoelace is by one shore.
