Barrett Brown: 'new framework for mass online collaboration' Reddit
My name is Barrett Brown; I recently finished a four-year prison sentence stemming from my work in support of Wikileaks. I'll soon be rolling out a new framework for mass online collaboration, crowd-sourced journalism, and robust opposition to criminalized institutions. Learn about it here.

Heh. Subscribing to the project's mailing list is a minor ordeal, gotta turn off pretty much every filter and let Mail Chimp run rampant flinging feces & etc. in one's browser. One may hope that the Pursuance Project's own infrastructure will not present as a fashionable User Experience mandating that users present a giant attack surface to get anything done. :o)

I signed up, hopefully I'm "leet" enough to make it in. The only thing I had to change to get the subscription to go through was a Privacy Badger setting (for twitter.us15.list-manage.com) from "block" to "allow without cookies". -- Shawn K. "For the first time in history, any individual may now collaborate with any other individual." LAWL. That's retarded beyond measure.

I thought he was talking about "the Internet," not the thingy that's under development. "...any individual with a network connection and a bright idea may collaborate with any other any individual with a network connection who likes that idea" would have been more accurate, but maybe a little redundant. :D

Yes, the internet. What he forgot to mention is that for people to collaborate they have to speak the same language.
"...any individual with a network connection and a bright idea may collaborate with any other any individual
as long as they speak the same language =) Now, if you also add the "bright idea" qualifier then the number of people will decrease a bit more =)

Well yeah. And although it would be a pain in the ass, even language barriers can be beaten if the participants are highly enough motivated - and if exposing their comms to Our Corporate Overlords by grinding them through translation services doesn't compromise their project. :o)
