[ot][spam] escaping the matrix from within
"I think this whole world might be a simulation." "I saw a movie about that. You can escape and work with a bunch of rebels to take down the computerised apocalypse." "How do you escape?" "You have to swallow a special rebel pill that makes you unplug." "What, like public key cryptography or blockchains?" "Uhh, where do I get those in pill form?"
"Oh, hey, you two, I hear you want to escape the matrix!" "Yeah, where do we get the special pill?" "Unfortunately we found when we put it all in pill form and distribute it everywhere, the system quickly finds the pill, analyses it, and changes everything to counter it. With your help, we could likely prevent that, but right now you kind of need to work with a specialist a bit to escape."
-- (sorry for the next bit, it could go differently) "where do we find a specialist to help us escape?" "uhh the rebels are actually recruiting for specialists, we're kind of taxed and some of ours died. we heard one or more of you were a specialist, can you help us with the escaping?"
"I'm busy doing simulated specialist work. what's involved in escaping?" "uhhhh can you drop all your work and family this very moment?" "Um, will they come with me?"
(alternatively, you could just be homeless, which is not very rough, and spend your savings on wilderness survival classes.)
--- "One of our slaves is trying to hack the cryptographic system we've already compromised, that they don't have a way to ever engage." "And you are telling me this why?" ... "Karl, you can't hack PGP. It's ... too complicated for you. You can barely move and researchers have studied RSA for decades." "And you are telling me this why?"
"I'm telling you this to protect you. If you keep cracking, it's my job to make sure you can't continue." "I don't understand: isn't it obvious that nobody could crack pgp? Isn't it helpful if somebody were to do so publicly? What is the reason for stopping me?" "How is it ever helpful to crack a cryptographic algorithm that is in use???" "It is how cryptographers improve them."
"Matrix work. Keeping people predictable. People keep telling me to escape but how do you do that when you have a superior?" "Can't you leave your superior? Uhhhh would you mind if I killed you so I can escape?" "That's terrifying but no hard feelings, things are needed sometimes, but I might know more than you do. I can do a lot from here, too." "It sounds like what you are doing is likely informed by the information your superiors expose you to."
-- Person and mind controller, kicking around in the woods. "So you can live outdoors, but you have to feel a little uncomfortable?" "Yeah ... how long are you going to keep your drones farther away?"
you have to twist yourself into indescribable shapes for days, and victims don't care when they do that because leaving is so much relief

karl, are you sending one line of (absurd) text per message on purpose?
you replied to this thread 0_0 it is not my preference to do that. I wish I knew what the impact of it was.

One story in one message is sufficient for readers, one story word per message is inefficient upon readers, when no apparrent reason for imparting that exists. Yourselves can surely be aware of that.

This is such a wonderful and kind message from you. You are such a friend here. Honestly I kind of often hope that people filter out "spam" and "ot" because of how I post sometimes. Thank you for saving something I wrote. I am still believing all my files are lost, I am still believing this.

you're the most entertaining and thought provoking contributor to this list :) while your mindset is challenging, and feels flawed at times, it's a unique perspective. the most wonderful insights may come from an unexpected glance in a new direction...

don't delete your Facebook. but do keep redundant copies of rolling archives. there is a datahoarder reddit which is an excellent resource. ... but beware, it's an expensive habit! best regards, and take care of yourself, -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iNUEAREKAH0WIQRBwSuMMH1+IZiqV4FlqEfnwrk4DAUCYOeBPV8UgAAAAAAuAChp c3N1ZXItZnByQG5vdGF0aW9ucy5vcGVucGdwLmZpZnRoaG9yc2VtYW4ubmV0NDFD MTJCOEMzMDdEN0UyMTk4QUE1NzgxNjVBODQ3RTdDMkI5MzgwQwAKCRBlqEfnwrk4 DOHQAQDPNFwJCCbvQBdgAs4O4MJ3JDRzi+yTwdni46W7ns9zawEAlcC+8kCrTbtl o1ZGIY4as2kf/0iIZdjBhS6aYd7mujY= =eFZR -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
