I think it is a question of responsibility. If you eschew responsibility, fuck it, give youself the nanny state and what you asked for. But if you have any shred of responsibility, then place that upon you. Do you want HOTP/TOTP, or do you want nanny SMS? That is the question. I believe that even Johnny is educatable to these things, and I wish to do that. Do you?
