Glitch in FBI's 'Palantir' allowed unauthorized access to private data
If you missed it, Palantir is an international data-influence/spy corporation with many governments as their clients. The article mentions that the FBI is one of Palantir's clients, and that Palantir's software has the usual corporate norm of defaulting to easy-to-use access settings. My understanding is that Palantir is the kind of corporation that is highly likely to either be a shell corporation for a government or to be answering to one.
