The proper officials, if they knew, should advise of the intrusion, not let it play at the disadvantage of the subject computer. Now, I am not embarrassed. Sure, yes, I knew that this PC had been compromised, but overall, my approach has been that any machine I had during this experience would be a target. What I am getting at is, it is not cute to be a computer criminal.
