"The Court accepted that Voltage could ask for the costs of a single copy of the film and an appropriately proportioned fee to recover its legal costs so far." We have iiNet, Australia's second largest ISP, to thank for this. They have seen the economic self interest in putting some resources to establishing sane internet-related rulings. I call it "enlightened economic self interest" as it appears to be at least a step above the average corporate nature.
