CP Snow posited two cultures over half a century ago. They were science and the humanities.  Well we know how that went. Today's cultural divide( s) are/is between scientists.  Relativists Vs Quantum-mechs in universe being Bio's Vs intelligent machines in species being.  I'm betting on a quantum-robots. synthesis  - and their two-cultures will involve aliens.
