that is propaganda to introduce even more totalitarian controls.

so risc-v is FUCKED.

I suppose it's too much to ask that ordinary people learn about the "inverse-square law". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inverse-square_law One advance in cell-phone technology has been the use of WiFi as an alternative means of wireless connection, rather than relying on cell phone towers. If you are using your phone near a WiFi router (say, 30 feet away) it only needs to emit about 1/1000 of the energy than it would need to connecting to a 1000-foot-distant cell tower. ((30 x 30)/(1000 x 1000)) = about 1/1000 Jim Bell

While true, that single device at .001 still needs multiplied out 24x7x365 into your gonads. Multiply it further by the antennas at both ends, and all the other devices within range, plus all the EM radiation the average urban environment is basking in all day every day... Not to mention even cheap ebay geigers will chirp at the bricks in your house, in part thanks to war machine.
cell / phone / WiFi
Disambiguation. Calls can go over both cell and wifi nets. Surfing can go over both cell and wifi nets. Regardless of wifi, your baseband is still radiating, certainly as long as you have a sim installed. And cell and wifi are both unnatural RF that DNA hasn't had to deal with till last few decades. Throw in cars, coal, chems and all the other wonders of say post 1950... no wonder cancer rates are skyrocketing. Any links to RF background energy surveys vs distance from cities?

risc-v is fine, but will come with a backdoored glue chip. What we need is an open source SOC, (system on a chip), one where the glue is open source. Government spyware is always on the part of the system that handles incoming ethernet packets and manages the earliest stage boot up process. We need open source glue that handles incoming ethernet and first stage bootloading, which supports boot from internet with open source code and open source standards. Right now Grub gets loaded into memory by mystery code that no one can see.
There are plenty of postgrads and plain opensource folks and global processor knowledge that all three of #OpenHW #OpenSW #OpenDev can be done for that right now today by the open source community same way as kernels are on github. #OpenFabs are almost the same as far as knowledge goes, but do require actual capital... to achieve dies that can compete with current offerings such a fab will need rich benefactors, crowdfunding / cryptocurrency. Funny that no one seems to have yet deployed the first three to create open cryptocurrency mining ASICs, even for printing in closed fabs. Currently all such chips seem to be secret for profit commercial endeavours. An #OpenHW ASIC could also be used to fund #OpenFabs.
