The good news is that your messages are getting through to the list, Punk. You can find them in the archive, here: https://lists.cpunks.org/pipermail/cypherpunks/2021-May/date.html Look below for the reason. It appears that tfwno.gf (or maybe an intermediate domain used for email) landed some of the blacklists. If this persists, I can look at adjusting the spam filter rules on the cpunks.org server. I'm not a fan of blacklists, because getting on them is easy (especially for small operators like me) and getting off them is hard, and the blacklists tend to have almost no capacity to respond to inquiries when there is a false positive. You might want to forward the analysis below to your system's admins, in case they are motivated to try to get off the blacklists. That would be my first recommendation. My second recommendation is to give this a couple of days, in case the blacklisting expires or is rescinded. If issues persist, though, I can try to tweak the rules on the cpunks server. Right now it's using the default spamassassin settings that came with Ubuntu. Generally, spamassassin does a pretty good job at spotting spam, and until now I don't think it has complained about cypherpunks lists traffic. Yours truly, Greg (cpunks list maintainer) PS: As far as I can tell, Karl puts [spam] in his own subject lines. That doesn't seem to be coming from the mailing list server. Please send me a clue, if this isn't correct.

First, I'm glad Punk will interact with the tfwno.gf sysadmin. I'll be happy to help, if there is anything I can do. And: On Thu, May 20, 2021 at 06:19:46PM -0400, Karl wrote:

This is correct.
Personally, I don't think this is necessary. The nature of the cypherpunks list is that people offer their thoughts, knowledge, links, criticism, etc. Your contributions are generally on-topic for the list, so I don't think there's a reason to downplay yourself. If you are truly posting something that is off-topic, then an "[offtopic]" indicator or similar might be a good way to indicate that. Of course, I'm just one opinion. There are no rules about this (and the fact that I also manage the list software doesn't make my opinion the "right" one). Best, Greg

Are you receiving what I'm writing? What do you think of this?
[spam][spam] i tied myself to a table leg again and i want to talk about how boss's striatum wire just feels _so_ _great!_ be scared and aggressive around people different from you! if i sell you some spam, will you let me buy some of yours? [spam][spam]
Compared to this?
Hey does anybody have any tips on learning rust on an airgapped machine? Cargo just keep frustrating me so much. Is there a crate mirror anywhere? If I made one, would anybody else use it?

I can maybe switch to thatt<okay i wanted to revise this to maybe even change what I was expressing but my input dialog box is moving my cursor all around and it is very hard to navigate, so sending as is. sorry about this.[spam]> honestly I was "trained" to disrupt communities like this and I want to give people a clear way to protect themselves from that disruption a little., when I can figure it out. at all.
Greg, I'm calling this out because of the inconsistencies in our communication. As long I don't see signatures, I keep waiting for men-in-the-middle to work with us in the forthright manner they deserve. You mentioned a subscription option to me, regarding spam. I didn't see you mention this to Punk, although I did see you engage him in a very friendly manner. What are your thoughts on Punk not having subscribed? He seems to usually attend closely to the list. K

You mean, digital signatures like gpg? True that I don't usually do that...

I try to be friendly to everyone :) In fact, there were previous issues with his email address, which I helped to solve.

No, that's not the problem this time. And, I see he subscribed an alternate address, which is a good temporary workaround for the blacklist issue. It was a good idea to mention, though. - Greg

Lots of trust for networks? I've personally engaged in mitm attacks myself, if it's relevant. Small thing in college long ago.

I don't understand. It doesn't look like I will any time soon, as what you say doesn't seem to line up with what you said before. Hope you and your list are well.

OK, so taking a better look, all of cock.li is blocked because the filter is blocking by IP address? [37.120.193.122 listed in zen.spamhaus.org] so this is just another govcorp attack on cock.li. Shocking.
