You can't make this up Techrights has the debian-private email thread, 253 messages about how to apply the knife to Torvalds' throat so he would only say what Debian wants him to say. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=techrights+linusgate&t=ffab&ia=web -- Debian Developer

This is a carrot type of comment, inviting intrigue and a "well, what do you mean, sounds like it could be juicy?" Around here, you are invited to simply say whatever you want to say, or whatever you think others might like to read - have no fear of censorship (except perhaps "is it lawful in the USA" since otherwise the list administrator might get in trouble, but other than that, knock yourself out, you're in the company of people who value freedom as manifested for the individual, and if you want to engage in a verbal war with someone, and they can't resist engaging, we will simply grab the popcorn, and sometimes stoke the fire ;) Or of course, the peacemakers will also leap into the fray and encourage peace and try to interpret the misinterpretations or etc etc - it's just a free for all, so freel fee to avail yourself of this freedom.
