Who would donate? Rich Libertarians of all types. Peter Thiel.
I wonder why supreme anti libertarian scum like thiel would donate even one dollar to the cause of freedom?
Billionaire “troublemakers” like George Soros
idem
Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Warren Buffet, Elon Musk, Winklevosses, Mark Zuckerberg
those monkeys are supreme anti libertarian scum and are directly responsible for the americunt global surveillance/police state. I find it rather odd that Jim regards somebody like thiel as a 'libertarian' or that he thinks that the "founding fathers" of global surveillance would do anything to defend freedom.

If you don't think Thiel is a libertarian, you could help your position immensely by citing as many specific positions he has taken or supported that are contradicted by libertarian philosophy. Should be easy, if you are right. Jim Bell

I dont care what thiel says. I care about what he does https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palantir_Technologies I think that's enough to not only show that thiel isn't a libertarian but to also show that thiel deserves to be beaten to death. he has taken
or supported that are contradicted by libertarian philosophy. Should be easy, if you are right.

Thiel might be similarly wracked with guilt. He is said to be worth $3 billion. Perhaps one third of a percent of that would fund my fedjusticeshutdown.org operation for a whole year, I think. haha =) I guess you are seeing the glass half full.

come to think of it, is there samething like https://www.crowdsupply.com/ but for political projects? If not, creating such a site might be a good...project? apparently this bullshit video game https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Citizen got 170 millions (!!!!!) on kickstarter. you might get lucky and get something from some rich donors like thiel but maybe you can get more from 'ordinary' people? oh, just remembered, here's a guy donating ~5000 btc https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pineapple_Fund (as to thiel, maybe he's somewhat ashamed of being a 'private' facade for the NSA and posing as 'libertarian', although I'd argue that if he had any moral principles at all he wouldn't do what he does).

Thiel prefers more noble causes like preventing slander against Hulk Hogan with massive lawsuits that put people out of business. Classy!

Suit seems rather freedom thing to do, or try. Though not under court of the state, with state as judge, jury, bailiff, etc. And not as if it would ever rule against itself, or it's pompous preserver The Supreme.

Yes, muzzling the freedom of the press to preserve Hulk Hogan's deep well of integrity is surely the correct thing to do, particularly when your true reasons for the attack have nothing to do with Mr. Hogan. As I said before, Thiel is one classy oligarch!

The press are our enemies, and intend our destruction. In the end, we will have to kill them, or they will kill us. For people to know the truth, they have to be able to communicate freely, which requires an unregulated and uncensored system of peer to peer communication, rather than information passing through official "legitimate" gate keepers. A system with centralized gatekeepers, gatekeepers controlled by some form of consensus, is an attractive nuisance, in that those that have power will always capture it, with the intention of blinding those whom they would destroy. Thus, a system with such gate keepers, will always wind up with utterly evil gatekeepers, people who deserve death, because such a system is attractive to evil powerful people.

yep, that's the stuff that any (fake) libertarian worth his salt does. Call the cops to silence people who commit 'slander', that is, say stuff you don't like. Classy indeed.
