Is this list worth subscribing ?
I was going through the archives of this list and noticed it with much chagrin that this list which once was so famed has degenerated to this !! I mean yes cypherpunk writes code and doesn't bullshit on the mailing list, but as an outsider is there anything for me in this mailing list. Obviously, I am a coder and much eager for the subject of cryptography, and what I expect from a list such as this is coordination, strategising and infography in writing privacy software. Yes, there is some fantasy mixed up in there. Waiting for some engaging reply. Thank you.
Hey Suraj, Here is what you need to do (please share this information): - properly using Tor, make an anonymous e-mail address to subscribe to the list. if you are identified as making a strategic post, you could be seriously hurt. - use your email filters to block everybody who is spamming, and let everybody else through. spammers like me have been influenced in an attempt to prevent the work that goes on here. yes, many of us like me also try to contribute between the spam. that's an attempt to make it harder to filter us (or a callout for help ;p). Nowadays people are mostly organising via private communication rather than dangerous public channels. On 1/31/21, Suraj Upadhyay <usuraj35@gmail.com> wrote:

I'm thinking on this interaction, and on how connecting software developers together is sorely needed. Maybe it would be good if there were a communication channel for people who've revealed their names and aren't necessarily trusted, but could possible work on something or offer good ideas. Like this person could have been told of a specific group they could connect with, or something. Dunno. Me, I am not working on anything with anybody in any ongoing basis, and I have software development skills. I should probably be put to work on testsuites or debugging, because I make a lot of mistakes.
