The path of Islam is always the same.
Now here's an angle I have not seen before - historical nation state wide religious changes. Interesting if true. ----- Forwarded message from Gil May <gilmay97@gmail.com> ----- Date: Thu, 16 Feb 2017 20:27:32 +1000 From: Gil May <gilmay97@gmail.com> To: reader@hotmail.com.au Bcc: zenaan@gmail.com Subject: The path of Islam is always the same. Afghanistan was once a Buddhist Nation Pakistan was once Hindu Lebanon was Christian. Do you see the established pattern? Today they are all Islamic nations. Interesting if true.
From a quick search, it's technically true but potentially presented in a misleading manner.
Afghanistan - Arrival of Islam 6AD Lebanon - Arrival of Islam 7AD The decline of Hinduism in Pakistan is more recent, and largely coincides with when they gained independence - 1947. A lot of Hindu's left for India, with a lot of Indian Muslims migrating to Pakistan. You can do exactly the same for Christianity though, and at similar distances into the past Britain - Various Pagan gods (and Roman gods) supplanted by Christianity France - Various Pagan gods Scandinavia - Ditto Africa - in various countries, misc gods replaced by either Christianity or Islam About the only takeaway really is that religions sometimes get replaced (or "tweaked") by new religions, sometimes that's the result of a military invasion, sometimes it just happens over time and sometimes there's no change at all. None of which should be particularly surprising. IOW, the following claim is unsupported by the "evidence" provided
Europe will be the next to fall Then America------and Australia

In Afghanistan one of the lesser known projects in progress is Afghanistan Highway 1. I read a few years ago (but have been unable to find the article recently) that the intent of this "Ring Road" around the nation connecting most of the major cities is to socio-economically-culturally-politically influence Afghanistan away from Pakistan, towards India. The path of Islam is always the same.
The nature of *religions* are often the same... exclusive claims to righteous correctness, thus failure to interop, subjugation of others, etc. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion
Interesting if true.
So what may be interesting is analyse why one now, (say christians / agnostic / atheists / other... depending on invite country), recently open invite borders to known exclusive history at risk to selves. Same could be said if any other combination of influxes happened from wherever to wherever. Is there belief that mutual hippie love will happen among exclusives? A sales pitch happening from one religion to another? Some kind of destabilization scam providing yet more accruals to powers at the top? Some other... ? What does the study of various influxes in history say, be they migrations under pressure vs. voluntary mutual over time?
