Various hypothetical stress tests, along with the real-life stress tests of the pandemic and the 2023 banking turmoil, demonstrated that the largest U.S. banks can and do serve as a stronghold for the economy and the financial sector. “Forum members have more than tripled their capital levels over the past 15 years.
