Yeah, I meant the other way
"war on drugs"
Seems to be working if you think alcohol is less than or equal to drugs in harmfulness
It is working? Then you're either woefully stupid or willfully blind to a few issues - say, the mass incarceration of drug offenders in the American gulag, and the huge amount of violence the black markets have created in Central/South America. I could go on, but it's clear you don't give a shit (in other words you lack basic human compassion).
Take ld50 of water and tell me how safe it is. Dumb fuck =)
Read a book =)
"Because cannabinoid receptors [unlike opioid receptors] are not located in the brainstem areas controlling respiration, lethal overdoses from cannabis and cannabinoids do not occur."[1]
.5g of pot
500mg edible dose is .5g of oil, ~2.5g of cannabis @ ~20% THC
Try it
When inhaled, THC travels directly to the brain, as Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol
When eaten, THC is metabolized by the liver, which converts it to 11-hydroxy-delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol
So what exactly is your point? You've just established that effectively there is no ld50 for pot. How does that make it compare to alcohol unfavorably? What happened, smoke a joint and get freaked out? =) That's the nice thing about weed - even though you had a little panic attack, you didn't jump in your car and start driving, or start beating on your girlfriend.
