Pretty much just a cellphone tower with a phased array antenna, I think. Nothing too absurd or new. There are only 6 of them up as yet, so coverage is minimal - they need 30,000 for global coverage. https://www.datacenterdynamics.com/en/news/spacex-launches-satellites-for-di... shows the antenna.
