at one point the mirror maze drifts backward through a microscope lens and comes out ten times as large! a genius intern gets excited and dives in, looking for patterns, shining lasers they find a resonance organization and the whole thing starts spatially pulsing and emitting bursts of bright blinding light as it self-amplifies, then suddenly flattens into a two-dimensional shape and begins spawning little mirror people who start to work building and settling into a miniature village made of mirror puzzles in the corner of a hallway
