Reporting that 10 rupees recently reached me. I understand that's about $0.10 in my currency. Never before in my life have I seen a ruppee. The rupee joke was taken from stereotypes in donald duck comics I read as a child in the 80s and 90s (many other classic american slave boss tropes are from euro comics like donald duck from last century, before we got more understanding of others).

Never before have I seen a rupee. It has Gandhi's picture on it. I love Gandhi.
