Hi, dear all!  :D

I think it can be interesting for some of us.  In this era of "alternative facts"  (Lieees, cof cof!),  the world does need more investigative journalism than ever.

A fool real example.  Yesterday, just for fun and to give support to a Dutch friend, I signed this jocose petition for the White House using their own plataform:

https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/america-first-make-netherlands-second-because-they-requested-it

https://youtu.be/j-xxis7hDOE

I was, theoretically, the second person to sign it and I shared the petition with the Brazilian Hackerspaces General List, because it was a fun bonus in a public message inviting all the hackerspaces to celebrate the International Open Hackerspace Day 2017 together.

My signature is NOT there.  My friends' signatures are NOT there.  I tried to sign the petition 4 (four) times since yesterday night, giving some hours between a try and another, and my signature is still NOT there.

It's a White House petition and I already signed some of these before.  Usually, there is no time lapse and the signature is counted immediately.  Will they need more than 13 hours to process it now?  Will my signature be in this petition someday?  :-/

I know, it was a joke among hackerspaces, but first of all, it was a public petition and we do have the right of asking to "Netherlands be Second" and the White House can NOT censure us this way.  They did NOT remove the petition until now, so if the petition is there, what is the point about obstructing our support to it?

I do really think Trump is pretty afraid Netherlands becomes First  (watch the video to understand the reference),  but I am afraid they try to block signatures in more relevant petitions about important subjects, like censure, freedom of expression, privacy and human rights in general.

Tender kisses and hugs.  Take care all of you!  <3

Ceci, a Brazilian fan of Netherlands...  You know, their walls are much better, hahaha!!  ;D
