So getting surgery, going to hospital, and/ or a doctor prescribing drugs for you which you thereafter consume, can be a life ending event. In fact, around a quarter of a million such deaths, every year, in the USA alone. That's a quarter of a million people dying, unnecessarily, year in, year out, due to medical errors or other "unfortunate" and avoidable problems.
