i looked a little into making my raspigpio project into something useful i ended up clicking the fork button on the "usb serial telnet server" project, it's on the android app store but also on github, and uses a shared library for serial communication that supports arduinos all i'd have to do is pull out the telnet layer, default to port 8888, and inform users to install my sketch initial extra credit could be installing it automatically although it's pretty nascent -- i did notice looking at android usb that there's a backwards-compatibility protocol for making usb devices that work with older phones that don't have OTG support
