in newcomb’s guide to wildflowers, wildflowers with many flower parts, leaves alternate and toothed or lobed, starts on page 370 there are a lot of flowers in there and none of the pictures are ascii so it’s hard to check precisely additionally the book only covers my area (northeast, usa and canada) i don’t know what flower it is! but it’s a cute flower i like it some similar flowers in this book include oxeye daisy, ragwort, sow thistle i think it’s not a sunflower because of the lobed leaves, not sure i wonder where jgs lived when making ascii art
