Mich. Hospital Can't Dodge Suit For Contractor Malpractice

A split Michigan state appeals court has found that a hospital must face a suit alleging vicarious liability for a doctor who a patient claims botched a gallbladder surgery, saying there's a fact dispute about whether the doctor can be considered the hospital's agent.
