This suggests to me that all ballots (absent the names of the voters, of course) should be recorded and publicized.  Not just the vote for the President, of course, but all the votes cast by the specific voter in a given ballot, for all the other races included.

Statistical analysis is quite powerful.    Patterns in seemingly suspicious ballots could be easily detected.
