Piling Squares On top of two 2's, we have a 4, as 4 is the square of 2. Below the 4, we see its square root, 2, placed twiced. There are both two square roots as well as two factors involved in the square. Next to this, we may see a 3, paired with another 3, and a 9 placed above. The square of 3 is 9. If this is too large for you, we also are working on small squares: I think the square of 2.1 is 4.21 . I think the square of 2.2 is 4.84 . I think the square of 2.3 is ..... ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
