I understand that this is helping me get off gmail. This is hard and we can do it. It looks to me like the thing for me to do is to write a script that compresses these removals a little, and forwards them back to the list when they are received. That's hard for me to do, and basically I need to be able to do it. On 7/8/22, cypherpunks-request@lists.cpunks.org <cypherpunks-request@lists.cpunks.org> wrote:
Mailing list removal confirmation notice for mailing list cypherpunks
We have received a request from 185.220.101.59 for the removal of your email address, "gmkarl@gmail.com" from the cypherpunks@lists.cpunks.org mailing list. To confirm that you want to be removed from this mailing list, simply reply to this message, keeping the Subject: header intact. Or visit this web page:
https://lists.cpunks.org/mailman/confirm/cypherpunks/d789f4cde70d5ccc0279c1e...
Or include the following line -- and only the following line -- in a message to cypherpunks-request@lists.cpunks.org:
confirm d789f4cde70d5ccc0279c1eba9947363f137f3d0
Note that simply sending a `reply' to this message should work from most mail readers, since that usually leaves the Subject: line in the right form (additional "Re:" text in the Subject: is okay).
If you do not wish to be removed from this list, please simply disregard this message. If you think you are being maliciously removed from the list, or have any other questions, send them to cypherpunks-owner@lists.cpunks.org.
