opened up system config. looks like bluetooth isn't turning on when enabled. solutiosn include: - debugging and fixing issue, my preference, takes too long to succeed at task though - purchasing bluetooth dongle, possibly more reliable, also takes too long - using different system - finding an existing 'bled' dongle. there's an old donge used in research communities that i have some of. not sure where they are. it's userspace, so the various projects have specific code to support it.
