You forgot cocaine. So let's use it as an example. Peruvians chew the Coca leaves and it allows them to function well at high altitudes because it assists the transfer of oxygen from the blood to the brain and body tissue, like the Amino creatine also does, and it seems to have no bad effects on the consumers

NOW, purify it from the Coca leaves and consume it regularly at sea level from, lets say your early/mid 20s when you get your first computer industry job. Listen stupid (that's you Juan) I've been around drug culture all my life. The difference between the relatively benign effect of organic substances on the human organism and the destructive effect of it's 'purified' ingredient is profound and easily noticeable to anyone, across the board, except perhaps the cooker and dealer who don't notice because they generally don't consume the crap they sell or live where it's considered a curse on the community it's destroying.
