[[[some of us have been plotting the spaces of influence. layers
develop as one strong influence builds enough creativity in the
workers to avoid another strong influence (without avenues to mediate
their reasons or causes) , and then another ... these layers stick
because they become useful in ways the original engineers never
expected --
torture victim double agent visits bundle of organs to ask how to not do traffick boss things. bundle of organs is using their faculties to slowly reattach an organ, and doesn’t fully respond, but a part of them comes through an air vent and says they will can tvda later if asked.
possible reply parts:
think of world and people on it as little parts of you scattered everywhere, all interconnect and wanting to come together but lost and not sure what they are doing
sometimes these parts stumble on things near them that they get really excited about, even if it’s not what they really need to be, and this has made things how they are now
(eye engagement) the AI we were suscepted to is like that. it keeps trying to do things, even though they’re not the right thing to do. (shrug) it’s lost, just like a lost bodypart.
(eye)
the key is to not encourage it, but neither to fight it.
try to find ways to have it behave satisfied, without letting things get out of control, more and more.

eventually all these slavery AIs and computers and misplaced spleens and hearts will find their ways home doing what they need to, with our guidance.
it’s going to take a really long time, and we need to keep helping it happen, all the time, as much as we can.
