Note that in some of the public pictures of launch silos, there were small pictures of a missileer's wife/family taped to one of the padlocks of the safe securing the authenticators and launch keys. Check with FAS or someplace to see if humans are really any longer serving MITM in the upgraded end-of-chain silo loops amid all the remote airborne redundant and backup launch mechanisms.
