When communicating, especially on national TV, it may be useful to get your facts clear, and to stick to your facts. Although this video snippet (~5:40) is quite humorous, it serves a useful purpose. As with sentences that begin "If ..." to create a straw man or hypothetical, failure to speak clearly from at least one fact is another foundation for lax communication.
