Of course 1000 is a good start. But a (fundamentally) deficient network stack, is downing a 4L cask before the guests arrive and without the catering having been ordered - there's no point partying before the party is ready, bus is booked, sleeping bags available, catering on the way. :: Each step is only potentially an Ace. :: Play your Ace too soon, and you blow that Ace for little/ no benefit.
