like, you don't run into a crowded theater and shout "fire!" or like attack a law enforcement officer, usually, to get anything done
but in random emergencies people might try this, to see if it can somehow improve something
then, if something else _copies_ the behavior, because of the rare and extreme results, it can go poorly

so like in organized crime slavery trafficking thing there are behaviors that protect 'civilians' from harm but also empower the organized crime slavery trafficking thing

so you can tell a bunch of people something to stimulate action around it. this action could be violent or harmful. but the people doing it are very indoctrinated or terrified or both. so they do it anyway. then their people clean it up or cover it over.
but it makes a mark, at the expense of everybody. and it's honest.
in the normal world, the majority of people are honest and communicate forthrightly and all that, so you can run into a crowded room and say that some guy is trying to enslave you and he gets dealt with.
but the bad people claim they're in charge of the world and surround their targets with other victims to pretend it's so. they're experienced with cleaning things up.
so it takes longer to get slave boss dealt with, and more people suffer.
but it's better than helping them make it even worse and more covert.
so the summary was kind of, hey this harm is obviously coming from a single influence, even if it's what used to be called advanced technology.

internally, [[we are learning one of the solutions, and it seems it's likely common among DID and psychosis: when you turn another part against itself, it makes further harm and mental health disease because it is you you are defeating. instead we need solutions that build more healed behaviors, rather than injured, damaged, misled, etc behaviors. and basically this kind of means not fighting as well as not amplifying anything bad. the analogy likely works well to larger systems. but it takes learning (small or large i imagine, but talking about psychologically), kind of because it's not what you expect, and this may be why some peoples' voices last for so long one of the things i've been trying is introducing more concepts of nurturing -- that is rather than worrying about the logical specifics of what might be said (since there is so much conflict anyway, like am i a hero or a jerk? lots of black-and-white opinion conflict), i'll worry about what kinds of words are used. if i talk about love and care and value, this helps me because the available concepts move toward connection and health, rather than conflict and harm.
