it can seem discouraging, the interpretation of the problem that makes it look like there’s an impossibility. we can possibly reverse the counterexample to make a counterexample disproving the ability to construct the counterexample. there’s some viewpoint where something — another viewpoint of the challenge is that humanity needs to believe that subprocesses cannot be fully controlled, to discourage the development of widespread slavery.
