I realized/remembered this shower goes colder than I was setting it, which was a bit of a blast.
I've changed my phone to split screen mode to keep the EEG app open, and had trouble finding the start button, resulting in much more time in cold water.
Took it slow, lots of gasps, put my head in at the very end.
Wim Hof mentions something about vascular blood vessels near the skin, and improving them. Thinking about that a little. So shocked, but also quite warm still and the cold is still fun and invigorating. Be nice to be less shocked.
But I think the colder temperature combined with the extended time from not finding the new button location, and having missed a week, are basically why it seemed a little shocking. Excited to move forward.
I have an idea of eating meals associated with wim hof protocol. Eating is a big urge for me now: gaining weight. Might help.
