BREAKING: Amazon Hit With $525M Verdict Over Data Storage Patents

An Illinois federal jury on Wednesday found that Amazon infringed three patents belonging to a Chicago software company that relate to cloud data storage technology, determining that while the infringement was not willful, Amazon owes $525 million in damages.
