Submissions are now open for speakers, workshops, and more. In 2018, the Hackers On Planet Earth conference series continues with fresh ideas on all aspects of hacking. With over 50,000 square feet for speakers, panels, workshops, exhibits, music, art, and open space, this will be the place to be. The Circle of HOPE seeks proposals for content and activities to make this the most amazing HOPE event ever. HOPE encourages all approaches and interpretations to hacking: hackers, makers, developers, teachers, learners, and experimenters. If you have a passion for discovering how things work and sharing that knowledge, you have the hacker spirit. Some of the topics from past HOPE events have included: social engineering culture jamming outer space science and math hacker ethos and lifestyles food, medicine, and your body bio hacking robotics and human-machine interaction censorship whistleblowing social justice, legal and political systems phones, telecommunication, and beyond technology threats and opportunities and much, much more HOPE is searching for innovative subjects and presentation formats. Come and show us what youâve got! Call for Speakers: Email your proposal to speakers@hope.net. Include a proposed title and abstract. Provide enough information so it is clear why HOPE attendees would find your topic interesting, new, and relevant. Also include a brief biography. Most speaker/panel sessions are allotted 50 minutes, including time for Q&A. All types of presentations are encouraged, from solo talks to panels, debates, demonstrations, and interactive discussions. Call for More!
