From what I know of the mathematics, they are quite unrelated, and it should be very difficult to make inferences about inputs by looking at
Anyone know of some good reference material comparing and contrasting these hash functions? their comparative outputs, but I'd love to see some work in this regard, if there is any out there. I have an application where it would be best to use two hash functions, but I'd like to make sure there is some "orthogonality" there.
