Wash. Judge Docks Pipe Co. $1.5M For Discovery Violations

A Washington state judge ordered a German pipe manufacturer to shell out $1.5 million in sanctions following a jury's $18 million product liability verdict against the company, saying testimony on the second-to-last day of trial revealed a key piece of evidence that hadn't been disclosed.
