backsliding?! Oh, you are an optimist, Zen! They never "slided" away from the bloody path of parasitizing/killing others in the benefit of themselves. In Europe and the US - there are no old days or new days - there are eternal "PRESENT DAYS" of oppression and mass murders over the weaker countries.
