everyone gets flushed and an intense pall comes over the crowd suddenly they form into a circle one person: “we have to make these two pebbles fight” pebbles: [sit there] everyone else: [murmurs and nods in agreement, some expressing great satisfaction to have this truth spoken] a pause another person: “but how will we do it?” pebbles: [sit there] everyone else: [distressful moans and groans, intense expressions of “i don’t know!!!” and “there is a way. _i know this_. _you know this_. there _must_ be a way.”]
