Facing a potential jury trial over allegations it allowed a nine-figure Ponzi scheme to play out under the nose of its Jackson, Mississippi, office, Baker Donelson is asking a federal judge to limit potential compensatory damages to investors' net losses of principal, arguing that "there are no recoverable profits in a Ponzi scheme."
